How it's calculated
Contrast ratio compares the relative luminance of the foreground and the background. Luminance weights red, green, and blue by human eye sensitivity (0.2126 R + 0.7152 G + 0.0722 B after sRGB gamma correction). The ratio runs from 1:1 (identical) to 21:1 (pure black on pure white). WCAG asks for 4.5:1 on normal body text (AA), 3:1 on large or bold text (AA Large), and 7:1 for AAA.

Print specs
Digital is the first surface, print is the proof. Use CMYK or Pantone for offset, coated stock for the gradient, watch ink coverage on the signal colors.

Paper
Coated, matt
150-300 gsm coated stock for full-color print. Gradient and signal colors reproduce closest on matt coated paper. Avoid uncoated for Reach and Meet, the magenta band shifts noticeably.
Ink coverage
Keep below 280%
Talentix Dark is the riskiest value at 251% total ink. On absorbent papers, knock the K back by 10% and request a wet proof. Never stack Dark on top of another flood color.
Spot color
Use Pantone
For one or two-color print runs, use the listed Pantone equivalents. They preserve module identity across business cards, signage, and outdoor where CMYK drifts.
