03 · Section 03 · Voice & Tone
Precise. Confident. With you.
Voice in three words. Type voice: precise, sober, engineer-meets-writer. Tone: lightly informal, serious with a dry wink. Let the product carry the enthusiasm.
Precise.
One idea per sentence. No fluff. Engineer-meets-writer. Precise is the writing style, not a core value. It lives here, in voice and tone. Read every line out loud before publishing.
Three voice principles
How we sound, always.
Principle
Precise.
Short sentences, one idea per sentence, start with verb. Engineer-meets-writer voice. Sober register.
“Blueprint. Scout. Reach. Meet.”
“Our four powerful AI-driven modules”
“We match. You hire.”
“We revolutionize hiring with cutting-edge AI”
Principle
Confident.
Claim the category. We are infrastructure, the operating system for modern hiring. No hedging.
“talentix is the Hiring OS.”
“talentix could help you hire better.”
“Built to hire with you.”
“An AI tool that may help recruiters.”
Principle
With you.
Always preserve the human. We never hire FOR you, we hire WITH you. The system produces matches. The human produces hires.
“We match. You hire.”
“We hire for you, no humans needed.”
“Hand-over to the recruiter.”
“Fully autonomous candidate selection.”
Tone spectra
Where we sit on the dial.
Tone is a calibration, not a rule. Four sliders define the room we speak in. Use them as a sanity check before publishing copy.
Formal
Informal
Lightly informal. We say "you", not "the client". We use contractions when they read natural, not when they read lazy.
Serious
Playful
Serious with a dry wink. The humor is in the phrasing, never in the punctuation. No jokes, no exclamation marks, no winks at the camera.
Sober
Enthusiastic
Sober register. Let the product carry the enthusiasm. We do not sell hype, we sell infrastructure.
Technical
Human
Human first. Technical detail only when it builds trust with the hiring lead. Buyers want clarity, not jargon.
Word choices
Say this. Not that.

Tone calibration
Five reference brands.
When in doubt, read these five out loud. If the talentix copy would feel at home next to theirs, it works.
Reference brands, internal use only. Never mention these names in external copy, decks, ads, or website. They live here so the team can calibrate the talentix register against a known posture.
Reference
Stripe
Calm and precision. Infrastructure claiming a category without shouting. Sentence rhythm we measure against.
Reference
Linear
Minimalism, opinionated design, three-word propositions. Short verbs. Confident silence between sentences.
Reference
Ramp
Commercial bite and outcome-driven claims. Money saved, time saved. Direct, never coy.
Reference
Figma
Warmth and partnership. Refuses to be cold infrastructure. Our "with you" comes from this register.
Reference
Rippling
Courage to claim a category before anyone else does. The operating system framing comes from this playbook.
Ready-to-use copy
Three templates. Copy and ship.
Pre-approved copy for the situations we hit weekly. Click to copy, paste into a deck, email, or page.
Hero headline
Use on landing pages, pitch decks, sales one-pagers. Two sentences, one rhythm: payoff then category.
“Built to hire with you. The operating system for modern hiring.”
30-second pitch
For prospect intros, investor warm-ups, networking events. Names the category, the modules, the outcome.
“talentix is the operating system for modern hiring. Four modules, Blueprint, Scout, Reach, Meet, replace 10+ disconnected tools. We match. You hire.”
Pitch deck opener
Slide 1 of any deck. Frames the category and the partnership in one breath.
“talentix replaces your hiring stack with one connected system. Built to hire with you.”
Never say
- ×No em-dashes (—). Use commas, periods, or rewrite.
- ×No AI as a buzzword. The system is AI.
- ×No exclamation marks. The system is quiet.
- ×No emojis in brand copy.
- ×No stacked adjectives like "fast, smart, powerful".
- ×No "powered by AI" or "AI-driven" as a virtue. The outcome is the virtue.
